Wichita Art Museum 1400 by Elderslie Cafe Renovation

This progressive design-build project consisted of an interior café renovation at the Wichita Art Museum that is not home to “1400 by Elderslie Farms”. The space will serve as an eatery within the museum and a private event venue for the Wichita Art Museum. The project included demolition of the existing space and a new bar as the focal point of the restaurant along with a point-of-sale station, flooring, lighting upgrades, and wall coverings. The Building and Service Divisions self-performed all demolition, finish carpentry, framing, and drywall on the project. This gave us a huge advantage in getting the project completed on time and under budget.
