I-235 & 13th Street Interchange

This bridge project involved the construction of a new interchange connecting the I-235 by-pass to 13th Street in northwest Wichita. The new interchange is designed to help alleviate traffic congestion through the Zoo Boulevard interchange making it easier for drivers to get around in northwest Wichita.

The project includes the construction of a new entrance and exit ramp connection I-235 and 13th Street and improvements to Windmill Road. The exit ramp, a 2,280-foot-long bridge, will allow northbound I-235 traffic to exit and go west on 13th Street. The entrance ramp, a 1,697-foot-long bridge, will allow eastbound traffic to enter I-235 and head south.
