Farha Sport Center

This pre-engineered 65,000 SF metal building is the newest addition to the South YMCA campus. The indoor soccer complex houses two full-sized soccer fields that can be turned into six half-size turf soccer fields. The synthetic turf fields are installed over a rock base rather than a concrete slab, to simulate the play of outdoor fields. There are perimeter nets surrounding the fields to allow for a broader range of field use. A sport specific training room aids team practices and allows athletes to warm up and cool down. A lounge and concessions room, adjacent to the fields, is frequently used by parents and competitors as a place to relax between games. Glass walls allow views of the activity on the fields.
