Immaculate Heart of Mary House of Formation

Because of an increase in numbers and space constraints there was a need for a new facility that could hold all of the sisters in one convent. This facility is the first motherhouse in the state of Kansas in over 100 years. The facility includes two buildings connected by an interior corridor. The east building is a two story with a basement that houses the residential portion of the complex, including 32 bedrooms, group residential restrooms and showers, private study rooms, community space to lounge, socialize and relax, full service commercial laundry and an elevator. The west building is a single-story space that including classrooms, a 100-seat chapel, full-service kitchen as well as a 75-person capacity dining hall. The outdoor amenities include walking paths, fi shing pond, outdoor prayer chapel and an outdoor living area.
