Mark Arts Mary R Koch Art Center

The 40,407-square-foot facility has nine art studios, with one of the new spaces being a teaching kitchen devoted to the culinary arts and another technology studio. The main art gallery includes an LED feature walls that faces Rock Road and is used to display art, events, movies or other relevant media. The facility was built using conventional steel framing, load bearing CMU walls and metal stud partitions. The roof consists of several clerestories with natural lighting through storefront systems. The exterior facade consists of black anodized curtainwalls, metal panels, wood-looking paneling, and natural limestone.
