BG Products, Inc. Distribution Center

Because of steady growth, BG Products decided to expand and needed a location that would include rail access. The City of El Dorado made a proposal to BG to build on an industrial site just outside of the city, this site would include the required rail spur access. BG saw a partnering opportunity with one of their main suppliers, Barton Solvents and worked out a site on their campus for Barton to build.

Prior to construction, site utilities were developed, two railroad spurs were built and the necessary city streets were installed. The manufacturing and warehouse facility is made of precast concrete. There are also two tank farms on the property, the thirty-one steel tanks range in capacities from 6,000 to 50,000 gallons.
