KTA Cashless Tolling – Sumner & Sedgwick County

This project consisted of the infrastructure of six Cashless Tolling sites from Sumner to Sedgwick County. The purpose of this project is to eliminate the need for toll booths on the Kansas Turnpike. This will be the new way of collecting tolls for the future of the KTA to help with the flow of traffic through toll sites. This project consisted of pavement reconstruction for the detection loops as well as median reconstruction for the overhead gantry foundations, as well as the installation of the overhead gantries for the cashless tolling equipment.
