We removed the existing three span concrete roadway bridges over the Marion Reservoir Spillway and replaced them with a new concrete beam bridge. The project involves removing a section from the top portion of the existing pier monoliths that is approximately 31’ long, 8’wide and 5’ feet high. This work was accomplished by using a concrete wire saw. The portion to be removed was cut to the correct elevation and removed in sections approximately 8’ X 5’ X 4’ long. While the construction is ongoing, access is being maintained to the machinery control buildings so the dam tainted gates can still be adjusted.
